WI vs IND 1st ODI: Rohit, Kohli, Pooran set to make it big

A thumping 3-0 win in the T20I series has boosted Team India’s morale and Kohli’s men will now be eager to repeat the heroics in the ODI series.

The 50-over format isn’t Windies’ strength but they gave a tough challenge to the world champions England recently. This should give Team India a reality check and the series should be a competitive one.

In the first ODI of this series, keep an eye on these three batsmen.

#3. Nicholas Pooran:

The T20 series was a a nightmare for Pooran who failed to make a big score. But he is in good form in ODIs and finished the World Cup with a hundred and then a half-century.

His ability to pace his innings according to the situation make him a big threat for India’s diverse bowling attack.
